Beckett Robertson is a high school student whose love of insects began whilst growing up in Hong Kong. He was the 2022 Grand Prize Winner in the Royal Ontario Museum’s Junior Wildlife Photographer of the Year contest and received an Honourable Mention in the same contest in 2023. He was also a Year 59 (2022) and Year 60 (2023) Natural History Museum Young Wildlife Photographer of the Year Finalist (based on macro images). He has photographed insects all over the world, including in Canada, Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic, Singapore, Thailand and the United States. He was a Digitization Technician in the Entomology Department at the Royal Ontario Museum during the summer of 2023 and is an aspiring entomologist.
